Jim was a felony and DUI prosecutor for the DuPage County State’s Attorney. He served in the position of a DUI prosecutor for over 20 months, and while there Jim handled thousands of DUI cases and went to trial on hundreds of cases. He also trained and supervised three other Assistant State’s Attorneys.
Later, Jim was promoted to a Felony prosecutor where he handled hundreds of felony cases.
In 1995 shortly after graduating from college, Jim began working for DuPage County as a Deputy Circuit Court Clerk. Jim clerked for a criminal court Judge for three years and then attended Northern Illinois University College of Law.
Jim began interning with the DuPage County State’s Attorneys in 2000, graduated law school and was hired as an Assistant State’s Attorney in 2001.
Jim enjoys a reputation as a highly skilled trial attorney who is well-liked by the judges
